Inspiring Bach

Alard is one of the leading interpreters of Bach’s music for harpsichord and organ; he is currently recording all of Bach’s solo works on these instruments for Harmonia Mundi.  This delightful concert with Claire Duff on violin combines Bach, Corelli, and a new commission for Music Network.

Ireland’s leading Chamber Orchestra returns to Waterford under the baton of their Principal Conductor/Artistic Partner Jörg Widmann, whose irrepressible energy and musical insight promises an unforgettable evening.  The programme comprises music by well-known composers Puccini and Tchaikovsky together with Stamitz’s Clarinet Concerto and a new commission from Sebastian Adams.
